Shopify Unite is the company’s annual conference in May where it looks ahead to the next year in ecommerce, and shares its plans for new features and products. It is traditionally held in Canada where Shopify HQ is based, and developers and partners come together to celebrate shared accomplishments, forge new connections and look to the future of ecommerce and commerce technology.
There are often announcements pertinent to not only developers and the partner community, but also of course the merchants who run their businesses on the platform.The announcements often relate to new features or functionality they will be able to make use of.
In 2020 due to the coronavirus crisis the conference was cancelled and an online event, ‘Reunite’ was held instead.
